Reverse Shoulder Replacement procedure?
The procedure is similar to a total shoulder replacement; however, the components are placed in reversed positions. In other words, the head of the humerus rests in the shoulder socket and the glenoid cavity of the scapula rests on top of the arm bone.
During the 1-2 hour procedure, the following steps occur:
